Work Camps

A concrete action in support of heritage, in a friendly atmosphere.

From yesterday to today

The castellan's residence, an ongoing restoration

Since 1983, the association has been hosting work camps for young volunteers, with the support of Rempart and Service Civil International, who work on consolidating the masonry. These actions are subsidised by the DRAC (regional cultural affairs authority), the Région Lorraine, the Meurthe-et-Moselle department and the Ministère Jeunesse et Sports (youth and sports ministry).

Since 2012, the association has also been hosting, during the summer, work camps for scout groups from all over France.

In 2017, a campaign was launched to welcome new members and active volunteers : everyone finds their place according to their interests and availability. « Enjoying yourself, in a friendly atmosphere, with the satisfaction of a concrete action in support of heritage » could be the motto behind everyone's commitment.

Summer volunteer work camps

Are you a student or a young adult? Do you want to take action in support of heritage? For a period of one or two weeks or more, take part in a restoration work camp supervised by a group leader.

Work camps with the CAPS de Rosières-aux-Salines

The association also hosts work camps in partnership with the CAPS de Rosières-aux-Salines (an organisation supporting people with disabilities), for people with disabilities : maintaining green spaces, clearing brush and small masonry tasks alongside the regular volunteers. These days, carried out in the same spirit of mutual support and good humour, are a genuine opportunity to share in the work of preserving the castle.

Weekend work camps

Can't or don't want to work over the summer? During weekend work camps, scheduled according to registrations, you can take part in the restoration of the castle on an occasional basis. Enjoyment, atmosphere and good humour guaranteed !
